Solid Foundation

A telling all-round performance by Jofra Archer spurred Livy Hoyte Foundation School to a 23-run win over St. Leonard’s Old Scholars and a quarter-final place in the fifth annual Christ Church Foundation School Joel Garner Twenty20 tapeball tournament as the winners of the Irvine King/Hugh Barker Zone C.

Playing at Briar Hall last night, Archer top-scored with 27 not out in a total of 115 for seven off 16 overs after Foundation were sent in.

The win was the second for Foundation and lifted them to seven points. St. Leonard’s finished second on six points.
