Cow itch control

Members of the public, particularly residents of Fort George Heights in St. Michael, are advised that the Ministry of Health, in conjunction with the Barbados Fire Service, will conduct controlled burning of cow itch in that area on Wednesday, February 27, between 9 and 10:30 a.m.

Persons who live in the surrounding areas, especially those with asthma or other respiratory conditions, should take appropriate action to minimise exposure to the smoke.

The Ministry of Health has apologised for any inconvenience which this operation may cause. (BGIS)
