Title-holders Dover Juniors went on a run-spree during the latest round of matches in the Inspire Sports/National Sports Council under-13 cricket competition over the weekend.

Dover Juniors amassed a record tournament-highest 320 for six from their 35 overs against Police Juniors at Dover after opting to bat.

Kadeem Alleyne smashed a whirlwind unbeaten 113 off just 51 deliveries laced with nine fours and five sixes. Jadan Jones sustained his good form striking a 54-ball 82 containing nine fours and one six. They added 84 for the fourth-wicket.

Marco St. Hill made a purposeful run-a-ball 63 with nine fours but Police Juniors were limited to 158 as Dover Juniors won by 162 runs.

At Dayrells Road, Jared Lovell struck an unbeaten 61 and Mekhail Marshall 31, to propel Wanderers Juniors to a ten-wicket win over Lords Juniors. Needing 111 to win, Wanderers reached the target in 17.5 overs. Earlier, Lords Juniors were dismissed for 110 in 30.5 overs.

Khari Griffith compiled a patient 39 from 52 deliveries. Marshall and Lovell claimed two wickets each for two and 15 runs respectively.At Bank Hall, fast-bowler Teron Lashley bagged five for 18 from his seven overs including four batsmen bowled as first-timers ICBL Empire Juniors were skittled out for 49. He took a wicket off the first ball of the match.

Off-spinner Zidane Clarke chipped in with four for 11. Ahijah Hall made 19 not out. TeleBarbados Carlton Juniors also found some trouble getting the target. However, in the end they made 50 for four with the pacy Zion Hill taking two for 19.

Five-for-seven

After a rare defeat in the last series, off-spinner Shakkae Marshall grabbed five seven to send Ellerton Juniors tumbling to 44 all out in 22.3 overs, chasing 164 against Fusionz Boutique Passage United at Passage Road.
