housefireingoodlandA family of four is tonight counting its losses after a fire in Goodland, St. Michael destroyed a wall bungalow.

Joyce Breedy, her son Wayne Anthony Breedy, 47; grandson Wayne Anthony Jr,, 11, and granddaughter Peagan, three, were left homeless when their home caught fire today under as yet undetermined circumstances.

Two fire tenders and nine officers under the leadership of Division Officer Errol Gaskin responded to the blaze which was reported to the fire service around 12:28 p.m.

While the fire was extinguished, fire officers said investigations into the cause were continuing. (LB)
