Love and appreciation
One week before Valentine’s Day!!!! Have you decided what you will be giving your significant other on this day?
It is so amazing to me how some say that they don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, because you should give love one to another everyday, and consider it just another day for the merchants to make money.
At first I was one of those who would make that statement but now I have changed my mind. If I am in love with some person I shouldn’t have a problem to go out and buy them a gift to show my love and appreciation to them.
There are so many things you can do on Valentine’s Day. Some go out to dinner while others give their partners gifts such as chocolates, gift baskets and massages. Some even opt to stay indoors and have a romantic and intimate evening with their loved one.
Many ask what is the best gift to buy: my answer is, it does not matter once it is from the heart. Nothing beats that. Sometimes the simplest things are those that are treasured the most.
Time is flying so fast and we need to begin to show our love and appreciation to others. Tell your partner, your parents or children how much you love and appreciate them every day. We never know when our time on this earth will come or even loved ones so we need to show our love.
Even with relationships, sometimes it is hard to show our love when we have been hurt, but life is a risk. Enjoy being in love and feeling loved – it one of the most beautiful feelings in the world.
This is the month of love so show it!
We all have been hurt at some point in our lives but yet we still love again. I do not believe that anyone should be alone. There is someone out there for each of us.
Never let your past define who you are or will become. The past is what it is, the past. Sometimes we hold on to the past so strongly that it stops us from progressing. We believe that if we were hurt before we will be hurt again.
I was once like that but I have realised that when you send out negative thoughts you always get negative results. Our tongue is a very deadly weapon if not used correctly so always speak positive things about yourself and your situation, even if at the moment everything around you looks bleak.
Remember to always love yourself, because if you don’t love yourself, how can you expect others to love or accept you for who you are. I found this quote online from Rumi: Your task is not to seek for Love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built up against it. Have a wonderful week ahead! firstname.lastname@example.org
