Rewarded for good work
Audit Associate, Kristen Bentham, has been recognised as the Employee of the Year 2012 by the partners and managers at Deloitte Barbados.
Bentham, who has been employed at Deloitte for the past two years, received credit for exceptional service to clients, keen analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to balance work and study (and excel in both), a willingness to share knowledge and her involvement in the firm’s community outreach programs.
“Life at Deloitte Barbados would be boring, and far less profitable, if all of our people, ideas and works styles were the same. To succeed, we embrace the differences and reward excellence- internally and on behalf of our clients and the community,” said Patrick Toppin, Managing Partner.
Ryan Hurdle, the firm’s courier, earned the Spirit of Deloitte award as weighed by the partners. This is the highest award conferred by Deloitte Barbados to its employees and is bestowed upon the person who goes above and beyond to meet the expectations of the firm and its clients while displaying all-round excellence in personal development and having a keen sense of community spirit. Hurdle has been an employee of Deloitte for the past five years.
The awards were given during a special celebration attended by Deloitte’s partners, managers and professionals.
