A lucky Barbadian student, Ashley Moore, is enjoying a comfortable start to 2013 with a gift of a brand new living room makeover, won in the December 2012 draw of the Makeover Your Home for the Holidays promotion jointly sponsored by KFC and Courts.

The final winner of three monthly draws was recently presented with her prize of an Ashley living room sectional, rug, coffee and end tables set by KFC Marketing Coordinator, Shekelia Barrow and Davidson Ishmael, General Manager of Courts Bridgetown.

Moore, who purchased a meal at KFC’s Warrens restaurant one evening while making her way to classes at the University of the West Indies, recalled how the good news received on New Year’s Eve 2012, had taken her completely by surprise.

“I was very surprised; and also very happy to get new furniture for the New Year. Everyone at home is looking forward to it.”

Congratulating the winner, Barrow said the promotion had been very rewarding both for sponsors and participants.

“We were very happy to share that KFC So Good feeling with these lucky winners and we really enjoyed partnering with Courts on this promotion and rewarding our customers with some very exciting prizes,” Barrow said.

The Makeover Your Home for the Holidays promotion gave customers who spent $25 or more at KFC the chance to win one of three room makeovers.

The competition’s first winner in October 2012, Keisha Marshall, took home a kitchen makeover inclusive of a brand new refrigerator, stove and microwave; and November’s winner, Shakeea Boyce won a dining room makeover inclusive of an Ashley five-piece dining set, rug and assorted ornaments.
