Flames engulfed the building.

Flames engulfed the building.

Foxy Upholstery on Eagle Hall, St. Michael, was destroyed by fire just after 6 p.m. today.

Speaking to a team from Barbados TODAY, manager of the business, Neville Boucher, said he was cooking when the fire began.

Boucher said the fire quickly spread when he opened one of the doors of the business house.

Two fire tenders and nine fire officers from the Probyn Street headquarters under the commend of Station Officer Mervin Mayers responded to the blaze. Reports indicate that a compressor was the only piece of equipment saved from the fire.†(NC)†
