Red House tops at Wesley Hall

Red House are champions of Wesley Hall Junior School Inter-House School Sports.

On Friday at Queen’s Park playing field, Red House took top honours for the fifth consecutive year with 276 points, finishing ahead of Green House on 230 points, Blue House 216 points and Yellow House, 136 points.

In Under-13 competition, Jaquan Headley was the outstanding male athlete with 21 points while Afraka Bynoe- Forde copped 27 points to be the top girl.

Headley won the 200m and 600m and placed second in the 400m, while Forde dominated the Under 13 Girls Division winning the 200m, 400m, 600m and placed third in the 100m. She emerged as victrix ludorum.

Shakem Thomas of Red House and Sheyene Catlyn of Yellow House were outstanding in the Under 11 Boys and Girls Division respectively. Thomas won the 100m, 200m and cricket ball throw to amass 24 points and emerge as victor ludorum.

Catlyn won the 100m, 200m and 400m sprint event to gain 24 points.

In the Under 9 Division Ranico Rouse of Red House won the 80m, 100m and placed fourth in the cricket ball throw to gain 17 points while Trenesa Goodridge of Blue House won the 80m, 100m and placed second in the 100m to gain 21 points and were both champions in this division.
