Gov’t to open 16 units this week

As Government continues in its thrust to help Barbadians “own a piece of de rock”, the National Housing Corporation will officially open 16 quad rental units at Forde’s Road, Clapham, St. Michael, this Friday, January 25, at 3:30 p.m.

According to NHC Project Coordinator, Roger Ward, the 16 rental quad units were built and designed by the corporation, and cater to persons who are not in a position to purchase.

“We, at the NHC, look and continue to include all income categories in our housing and income programme as we continue to make housing Barbadians a priority,” he said.

Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and Housing Minister Michael Lashley will deliver addresses at the official opening ceremony for the units. (TB/BGIS)
