Soca and safari in Six Roads

Scores of party lovers joined the carnival safari and headed to the east for fun, food and music.

Held at Hoodees Sports Bar and Grill in Six Roads, St. Philip last Friday night, Parliamentary Representative for St. Philip West, Dr. David Estwick, mingled with soca artistes Mikey, Khiomal, Blood, and TC, who joined the party and enjoyed the music played by DJs Tammi, Peter Coppin, Jon Doe, and Alvin Toppin.

The first safari started on December 21 at a Brewster’s Road Crew fete and ends on February 1 at another one of their fetes.

The carnival safari makes stops each week at different bars around the island and patrons have a chance to win a trip to Trinidad’s Carnival. (DS)
