Bail for fraud accused

A Christ Church woman and a St. Lucy man were today granted $30,000 bail each with a surety after appearing in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on fraud charges.

Fifty-three year old Cheryl Thomas, of Kingsland, and 45 year-old Joseph Sobers, of Pie Corner, were accused of attempted criminal deception stemming from events which took place over a period of time.

They are both expected to return to court on May 13. (DS)
