Grand Vitara owners shown appreciation

Simpson Motors gave customers the opportunity to get a closer look at the new 2013 Grand Vitara at a customer appreciation event held recently for Grand Vitara owners.

Suzuki Grand Vitara owners got a special treat from Simpson Motors recently, when the company held a customer appreciation event to thank them for making the Grand Vitara the number one selling SUV for the past 10 years.

Sales director, Mark Hamilton, explained that the event was a means of saying thank you to all those who have made that milestone possible. In addition to an evening of fun, customers also got the opportunity to win a number of prizes including car washes using the company’s state-of-the-art automated car wash facilities, where the winners were able to experience car wash process as part of an impromptu tour of the company’s workshops.

During the evening, customers were also able to test drive the new 2013 Grand Vitara and one such customer, Nesha Williams, who has owned a Grand Vitara for the past four years, was totally impressed with the new model, giving it a perfect ten:

“I went out for a test drive and it was great — smooth ride, handled well on the road and I love the controls on the steering wheel and the display. I did not have any plans to change my vehicle right now, but after that drive it is very tempting.”

Echoing her sentiments, Ronald Vaughn said: “I like everything about this vehicle, the ride, the look and the suspension. I have been driving a Grand Vitara for the past four years and I am satisfied with its performance and was considering upgrading in maybe a year. That may come sooner after tonight. I am happy that Simpson Motors held this function for us and also gave us this opportunity to get a look at the vehicle.”

Hamilton confirmed that the overall response to the new Grand Vitara was overwhelmingly positive: “Based on the feedback from those test driving the 2013 model, along with the traditional performance, reliability and cost effectiveness of the model, we believe that the Grand Vitara will continue to be the number one choice for SUV buyers in Barbados.”
