Essay in print

We suspect our readers will spend quite some time studying this 1945 aerial shot of Bridgetown.

No NIS Building, or Fire Service headquarters, Treasury Building, Independence Square of Fairchild Street bus terminal.

There is a much narrower Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge and buses are parked next to the fountain in what is now Heroes Square. But the now abandoned Empire Theatre stands proud. What do you notice?
