Cricket finals this weekend

Pine Hill Dairy St. John’s Cultural will come up against Caribbean Lumber Maxwell in the final of the Barbados Cricket Association’s Division 2 championship on November 24, December 1 and 2 at the LIME ground, Wildey, St Michael. Play starts at 12.30 p.m. on each day.

Both teams gained first innings lead in drawn semi-final matches. St. John’s Cultural played against Ince Transport MTW at Bridgefield, while Maxwell’s opponents were Seven Seas Police at KMV Oval.

Meanwhile defending champions The St. Michael School and Nicholls Baking Combermere will clash in the final of the BCA Goddard Enterprises Schools’ competition on November 24, December 1 and 2 at the St. Catherine’s ground, Bayfield, St. Philip. Both teams also contested last year’s final.St. Michael won Zone ‘A’ with 55 points, while Combermere topped Zone ‘B’ with 57 points. Play starts at 1 p.m. on the first two days and at 12.30 p.m. on the third day. (BCA)
