Canada humble Bajans

Barbados suffered a crushing 11-0 defeat today at the hands of Canada in the Women’s Hockey World League competition at the National Hockey Centre in Trinidad and Tobago.The defeat left Barbados pointless after three matches, having earlier lost in the November 11-17 tournament to Uruguay (8-0) and Venezuela (2-1).

Canada led 7-0 at half-time.Barbados play Guyana tomorrow.The Barbados team is: Cher King, Katrina Downes, Shontelle Sargeant, Shakeira Sandiford, Shanice Clarke, Takirsha Cambridge, Cherise Moore, Ayanna Wilson, D’Jamilla Edwards, Tammisha Small, Shakira Oxley, Vanessa Chewitt, Ingrid Gaskin, Camille Pounder, Chantal Browne and Kemi Brewster.
