We’ve come a long way

Yes, we certainly have, but there are many who will still recall days like these, when milk and biscuits reigned supreme.

And as the island celebrates 50 years of universal free education and 46 years of Independence, it is indeed time to reflect on how much the island has developed.

    those were the days when the educational system treated some kids like they lived in south africa, many of the teachers were brutal, they were allowed to beat the kids with leather belts. The milk and biscuits were sometimes the only meal some kids got for the day, and poor kids got no respect, so please dont say those were the good old days.
