West Indies Sagicor High Performance Centre were 20 for one in reply to the West Indies first innings total of 220 for nine declared at the close of play on the opening day of a three-day practice match at the 3Ws Oval here today.

The not out batsmen were Trevon Griffith on 11 and Andre Fletcher, two.

Left-hand middle-order batsman Darren Bravo top-scored for West Indies with 57 after they won the toss. He batted for 148 minutes, faced 114 balls and struck seven fours after going to the crease at No. 4.

The other main contributors were Narsingh Deonarine (37), skipper Darren Sammy (36) and Veerasammy Permaul (29).

Tall Barbadian fast bowler Miguel Cummins was the leading wicket-taker with three for 21 off nine overs, while another pacer Jason Dawes of Jamaica picked up two for 30 off 11 overs. (BCA)
