Moving on Ronald Mapp highway

Major road works in the busy Warrens area are moving apace.

In recent weeks teams from main contractor C.O. Williams Construction have been busy excavating and paving a section of the Ronald Mapp Highway near Welches, and Communications Consultant Mike A. Williams said the project would be entering another phase in the coming days.

He reported that “the centre of the Ronald Mapp Highway between the Welches junction by Marshall Trading and the brow of Warrens Hill will be prepared for street lighting and jersey barriers” from tomorrow. T

he contractor has already done major work in the main Warrens area, including expanding the Darcy Scott Roundabout. (SC)
