Miss Jamaica, Lesa Gayle Wee Tom, is Miss Humanity International 2012.

The beauty also won Best National Costume, Best Swimwear, Best Gown, Best Interview and Continental Queen of Beauty – Caribbean at the show held on Saturday night at the Barbados Beach Club in Maxwell, Christ Church.

Miss Guyana, Meleesa Payne, was not only the 1st Runner Up but she won Best Talent for her Ballet and Monologue.

Second Runner Up was Miss Philippines, Ayelee Marie Dasalla, Third Runner Up went to Miss Netherlands, Romina Verdoorn and 4th Runner Up was Miss Australia, Cleo Howman.

The Miss Congeniality title was shared by Miss Netherlands (Verdoorn) and Miss Portugal, Filipa Aguiar, while the Miss Australia walked away with Miss Photogenic.

Verdoorn was adjudged the Continental Queen of Europe, Miss USA, Christina Thomas, the Continental Queen of Americas and Dasalla of the Philippines was the Continental Queen of Asia. The latter also polled more than 10,000 votes to be the People’s Choice.

Miss USA took home the Beauty On A Mission Humanitarian Advocacy Award for her Cultural Preservation of Native American Language.

Chief Executive Officer of SFC International, Stephanie Yates, the franchise holder noted that the “delegates did themselves and their countries proud” with their talent pieces and interviews.
