After two weeks of intense competition, the National Cultural Foundation has announced its finalists for the LIME NIFCA 2012 Performing Arts Finals, scheduled for November 2 to 5, at the Frank Collymore Hall.

A quota of 20 dance pieces, which comprised 15 groups, three duets and two solo performances, will compete in the non-professional category.

In music, 33 performers in the form of choirs, orchestras and individuals will present 48 musical pieces. Of the 43 original pieces entered in NIFCA this year, 13 have advanced to the finals. These included music by two steel bands, two choirs, six individuals, including one professional, and two instrumental compositions by ???
