Rescuer rescued

Mark Mayers, an employee of Equity Insurance Ltd. (Road Response Team) had roles reversed today when he had to be rescued from the van he was driving on Tudor Bridge, St. Michael.

However, Mayers must be counting his lucky stars after the van crashed into a house, flipped over and he walked away unscathed. The hood of the van was crushed in, leaving onlookers wondering how the driver escape uninjured. The front step, veranda and foundation of the house were extensively damaged in the accident. The house is owned by 79-year old Agnes Bailey.
