A policeman keeping a stern eye on unruly students aboard this Transport Board bus which was taken to the Central Station this evening.

Shock and dismay.

That is how witnesses described an unpleasant incident onboard a Transport Board bus packed with students from a St. Michael secondary school this afternoon. Sources told Barbados TODAY that a fight broke out on the bus while on its way to Bridgetown, forcing the driver to take the vehicle to Central Police Station.

It is understood that even after arriving at the police station, the students started fighting again. Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch said they were investigating the incident in which six children were taken off the bus, which sustained damage to some of its windows. (EJ)
