Sharing their ideas

The JOTA and JOTI are jamborees during which Guiding and Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas shared. The jamborees are held over the third weekend in October each year and are worldwide events.

JOTA is the acronym for Jamboree on the Air and for the last 55 years, since 1958, over half a million scouts and guides across the world have made contact with each other by means of amateur radio. Short-wave radio signals carry their voices to virtually any corner of the world.
