Schools' football planned for Sportsmax

Management of the Barbados Secondary Schools Football league has met with Sportsmax and is now part of a regional plan to have some of its matches broadcast on the network to give the league additional mileage and exposure for its footballers.

Under the initiative of the new president Adrian Mapp, the league will also be re-establishing its website and is soon to gain assistance from the Brewster’s Trust in a number of areas.

The league has a new committee in place headed by Mapp, a teacher at Lester Vaughan School, and vice-president Rory Sidaway. Don R. Small and Christopher Oliver were returned as secretary and treasurer respectively. The assistant secretary is Tamisha Marshall, the PRO is Michael Cummins while the floor members are Ray Nicholls and Philip Moore.
