Keep them closed

Has anyone in the Government ever been on a cruise? Well I have been. When the ships dock in any island, the shops are closed, also the casinos.

If Barbados allows them to open in Barbados the passengers will remain on the ship to gamble and then no one will go and shop in our port. I think it is a stupid move to allow cruise ships to open their casinos in Barbados’ waters.

Why do we have to be so different in Barbados? We need cruise ship passengers to get off the ship and go on tours, go shopping, etc.
