Determined singers

The children had their time and last Sunday Mico Johnson came out on top when he won the junior Richard Stoute Teen Talent contest.

However this Sunday will be the day of reckoning for the big horses, when 20 contestants compete in the first semi-finals of the senior competition. All are determined to reach the final and ultimately lift the coveted teen talent trophy but the question remains who will be the chosen few?

Patrons will have to wait until October 7 when the Plantation Garden Theatre is packed with curious eyes and lovers of talent.

The contestants have decided on their songs and completed their last rehearsals.

So for now, all they can do is wait for the day when they can stand before the judges with much confidence and perform their songs.

The hopefuls are: Reneice Bonnett – Make It Rain and Reach

Shane Nicholls – When The Heartache Is Over

Cherish Maynard – Foolish Games and My Immortal

Patrona Robinson – Slow Hand and Baby I’m Yours

Rashida Codrington – And I Am Telling You and Upon This Rock
