Full figured diva

This week it’s Tracey Collins’ turn in the spotlight as the contestants in the Miss Big & Beautiful pageant continue preparations for Unstoppable! which comes off on October 21.

Why did you enter the Miss Big & Beautiful pageant?

I entered this pageant to become your Miss Big & Beautiful 2012 with my friendly and caring personality I know I would be a great representative for all full figured divas.

List three words that best describe who you are?

Three words that best describe who I am are loving, kind hearted and patient.

What words of advice would you give persons who would like to enter this competition but may be shy?

My words of advice would be it is mind over matter and you would only be shy because you are telling yourself you are shy.

What would you say you have learnt from being in this competition?

I have learnt from being in this competition that time management, being punctual and giving your full potential in all that you do.

Do you believe the Miss Big & Beautiful pageant encourages obesity and unhealthy living?

Miss Big & Beautiful does not encourage obesity or unhealthy living but it encourages us to exercise regularly and healthy eating.

What should the public expect from you on October 21st?

On October 21st, the public would expect beauty and talent beyond my figure; they would remember me as a curvy yet energetic diva.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

In the next five years I see myself in the medical field as a nurse.

If you win the title what do you see yourself doing for the year you will reign?

If I win the title, I would be taking time to go into secondary schools to speaking to the full figured girls, that being full figured is not a disease or a challenge and giving back to the community by doing all I can.
