Soldier succumbs to gunshot injuries

KINGSTON- The Jamaica Defence Force soldier shot by gunmen on Saturday night has died.

The soldier, identified only as Corporal G Morgan, died this morning at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston.

Morgan was shot several times on Saturday night shortly after 11 p.m. in Green Bottom, Clarendon, the police report says.

He was airlifted to the UHWI in Kingston.

Morgan is the fourth security force personnel to be attacked over the past week. (Jamaica Observer)
