Join the Girl Guides!

WAGGGS is the largest volunteer organization in the world dedicated to girls and young women. It is volunteer led and is committed to instilling in each Girl Guide and Girl Scout a strong commitment to community service. For us, Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting is not just about enjoying the benefits of being a member, it is about passing those benefits onto others as well and to making a difference in the wider world.

Your expertise, skills, interests, life experience, and availability are needed! Without the commitment of the nearly 1.5 million volunteers around the world, Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting could not happen.

Whether it’s an hour or two every month or more regular commitments of once a week, there are several exciting and flexible ways young women and adults can participate in Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting at national, regional and international levels.

So why don’t you join today as a volunteer?

You can work directly with girls, support adults working with them, be part of a the Girl Guides Association of Barbados committee or volunteer at events. There is also opportunity to work with regional and international programmes.
