Crystal Cove looking out for staff

Workers at Crystal Cove recently benefitted from blood sugar and pressure checks, soothing massages and a wealth of useful information, among other things as the resort, one of the properties in the Elegant Hotels Group, hosted a health fair at the property recently.

The event, which formed part of Crystal Cove’s Staff Appreciation Week, featured information and demonstration booths from The Maas Clinic, Comfeet Foot Care Clinic, National Committee for the Prevention of Alcohol and Drug Dependency, Diabetes Association of Barbados, SBI Facial Care, Safety Supplies, AIDS Society of Barbados as well as Touch of an Angel Therapeutic Day Spa.

Hotel manager at Crystal Cove, Sophia Babb, expressed pleasure with the response by team members, noting that the health fair was well received as staff were eager to participate.

“This event was designed to give our team members an opportunity to get checked and collect information on various aspects of health and well being. Our team is the heart of our operation so we wanted to promote good health and wellness as part of our appreciation activities and were happy to see so many of them participate,” she explained.

Babb added that apart from the health fair, the Staff Appreciation Week also featured a church service, fun day and a car park lime, among other activities, aimed at recognising staff for their outstanding contribution to the daily operation of the hotel.
