41 years for young lions

The Leo Club of Bridgetown, the junior arm of the Lions Club of Bridgetown celebrated 41 years of service within the community on August 4, 2012.

On August 18, 2012, to commemorate this occasion, charter member of the club, Member of Parliament John Boyce addressed the club and honoured guests on his experience as a Leo, pointing out that what he learnt and the friendships he forged made him the man he is today.

He also informed those present of the need to play a part in road safety, as a service minded organisation.

The Leo Club of Bridgetown plans to continue their charitable services to their immediate community and by extension Barbados, in the form of feeding of the homeless (a weekly activity in Bridgetown), hamper donations and a variety of Fund Raising ventures among other activities which will be geared at bringing relief to the less fortunate in our society.
