Eight-wicket win for Bim

Kycia Knight took Barbados to victory with an unbeaten 32.

A miserly spell of two wickets for nine runs by Shaquana Quintyne helped Barbados to limit Grenada to 57 for six in 20 overs and then romped to 58 for two and an eight-wicket victory as the fifth round of the Regional Women’s Twenty20 Tournament continued in Kingston, Jamaica today.

Playing at Chedwin Park, Debbie Ann Lewis top-scored for Grenada with 15 but their total was always going to be insufficient against the strong Barbados batting line-up. After the loss of two early wickets, the Knight sisters, Kycia with an unbeaten 32 and Kyshonna with 13 not out, saw Barbados safely to victory.
