The third part of the Barbados Association of Dragsters and Drifters’ Drag Warz Series will take place on August 12 at the Bushy Park Racing Circuit from 3p.m. until 9 p.m.

The event is expected to attract the best of the best, as an all out effort will be made to eclipse the fastest time of 7.183 seconds which is currently held by Steve Bruce in his Belleville Motor Oils Mitsubishi Lancer Evoluton 3.

High on that list will be none other Corey Stanford in his Toyota Corolla AE 86, Matthew “DMZ” Forde in his potent Mitsubishi Evolution 3 and Jamal “Most Wanted” Sobers with his Mitsubishi Evolution 7.

Other competitors who should give a good account of themselves is current points leader Jason Downey in his well prepared Toyota RunX, Dwayne Clarke in his Honda Civic Type R, Noel Pilgrim in his Mitsubishi Cyborg, Michael “Chubz” Carter in his Honda Civic Type R, Kevin Griffith in his very fast Suzuki Swift Gti, David Hobbs in his Mitsubishi Evo 8 MR, Roger Lindo in his revamped Honda Civic, Sherlock Payne in his Mitsubishi Lancer, Dwight Jordan in his Subaru WRS STi and Colin Reid with his Suzuki Swift Gti.

It is also expected that there will also be a return of the big bikes, with Roderick Stuart leading the charge on his Honda 1000cc.

Patrons will be treated to drifting demos by the King and Prince of the discipline, namely Geoffrey Ullyett and Andrew Jones.

With the compliments of Courtesy Garage/Goodyear Tyres, four lucky winners will get the chance to win a prize of actually having the experience of going around the circuit with one of these drivers.

To add even more excitement to the event, Roger Mayers with his awesome Ford Focus will be making a guest appearance along with Neil Armstrong in his very fast Toyota Starlet and Stuart Williams in his Williams Equipment Lotus.
