Arbitration centre in the works

Barbados is in the process of establishing a Centre for International Arbitration.

The announcement was made this afternoon by President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lalu Vaswani, during a luncheon at Hilton Resort, jointly sponsored by the chamber and the Inter-American Development Bank.

Vaswani said the chamber had established a Legal Affairs Project Group, within its Business Environment Committee, to push ahead with the centre.
