Enquiry witness falls ill
The Commission of Enquiry into the Alexandra School was adjourned early today, after a witness took ill before he was even in the chair.
John Hunte was the next in line to give testimony at the Wildey Gymnasium, following former office staff members June Yearwood and Betty Williams.
Commission senior counsel Milton Pierce, speaking shortly after Williams ended her testimony, told Commissioner Frederick Waterman of the incident and the hearing was adjourned nearly an hour before its scheduled 4:30 p.m. end. (SC)
